You have never been able to modify posts after a certain time. What happens is that you get a thread with 20 posts in it and then the originator doesn't like the replies so he deletes the original post and everyone is left wondering what it was all about..So after about 360  minutes  you cant modify....

I posted a story the other day and I wanted to change a picture but it wouldn't let me. This was a minute or two after posting.

Yep! I could not alter one of my posts after 3-4 minutes and could not delete an inadvertent double post, made while trying to edit, 4-5 minutes later. The old system was more user friendly (well, to non geeky p c users) than the latest set up.  Roll Eyes Also why do we have a "round the houses" system of posting pic's? Drag'n drop is much simpler (well, for an older bloke  afflicted by "technofear".  Grin )

You could always modify/edit your posts but not anymore. It would say on the bottom of the post the time and day you edit it and your user name.

Any updates on this Alan? Can't edit posts (for spelling mistakes etc) even after 20 seconds.

It seems to be on for some posts but off for most? I was able to edit a post yesterday, but not today.

Getting the same problem and others.. most are fixed by logging out and in again.

Just dont be in too much of a hurry to log in again or if the log in seems slow, give it time before you push the button again. More than 5 seconds...

If your tooo fast you can get locked out as a spammer.. Shocked and your ip seems to be blocked, which is a huge pain in the posterior.
