Has any one got or used the Pedersoli Traditional Hawken like Hayes & Associates sell? . I'm thinking of getting one, Understand they use the same lock as the Pedersoli Kentucky.

I just found this posting so sorry about the delay , the Pedersoli Traditional Hawken is a rifle made for the modern US black powder hunter and except for the fact it is a muzzle loader is nothing like a Hawken , However the Missouri Hawken

is a very good copy of the original late model hawken as used by Kit Carson etc

. I have one almost the same , and have handled a Pedersoli one and found it to be the most authentic of the commercially made Hawken rifles . Almost up to custom rifle standards .
