Mid Pisa Range - Wanaka Roar Block 02 April - 08 April

Hey everyone, myself and a work colleague were successful in getting this roar block. Unfortunately, due to another colleague breaking their back on Friday and now being off work for at least the next three months we cant both be away at the same time.

Therefore, if there is anyone who would like to share the block with me and particularly who has 4wd access from any of the adjoining stations I would be happy to do so. If you don't have vehicle access from the adjoining stations it is flying access only. Cheapest quote I have so far is from Heliview at the Cromwell aerodrome who are charging $1900 for a return flight..... Undecided

Cheers

Yip that's what I thought too. Might have a contact for a cheaper flight but my preference is to find some one who knows a friendly cocky where we could get 4WD access to the block boundary. My only contact in this regard wasn't too keen and I don't want to push the issue.

Is there any deer in that block we have the last period for there but could go earlier if happy to share. PM me if you want some more info.

Hey , thanks for the reply . There are 4 of us so this makes it probably too many to share the block.

I also my mate that was sorting flights in and they are that price which is a bit of a shame. Must have been a different area he was thinking of sorry.

Best of luck for the hunting . I have also heard there maybe a few chamois in there so if nothing a great chance to get out and about.

Yip but your not allowed to carry fire arms on the walking tracks into the block from the snow farm car parks. Yeah 5 is probably a larger than I would like sorry, Oh well might be stumping some big cash... cheers for the interest anyway.
