I imported  a 16ga BPS , for myself, when they first came out at the 2007 Shot show , everyone liked it so much we brought in 5 more , yes they are a nice gun . Because they have the tang safety and load and eject  through the bottom of the action , they suit either left or right handed shooters . I sold the first 3 to leftys .
I found the action a little clunky compared to the 870 but because they are on the same frame as the 20 ga and the 870 is on the 12 ga frame , they are lighter, better balanced and handle better than the Rem 16 ga.

Shooting is the most fun you can legally have with your clothes on .
Proverbs 12:27
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

With a little use the BPS smooths right up.

I own 2 in 16 gauge, my daughter has a youth stock on hers.

My Remington 16 is NOT the same size frame as a 12.
I know this because I have both.

I quite enjoy my Remington 870. Will shoot all day, doesnt mind the rain and/or mud, easy to strip down and clean ... I reckon there's a reason it's the go to shotgun for US police and military.

It was untill about 10 years ago , now they all use Benelli .
They now manufacture in USA and have the contract for all military and police shotguns . as various police forces replace the remingtons and mossburgs they get Benelli
