Have picked up some baquacil which is a 35% hydrogen peroxide solution.
What sort of mix/ ratio should I put in a bucket to whiten some tahr heads?

May I ask where you managed to find the Baquacil? Been on the lookout for months!

Also, I would probably dilute it 50:50 with water and submerge only the skulls in the solution. Once the skull is white and dry, then replace the horn sheaths back onto the cores. I have seen people simmer the skull in the 50:50 diluted mixture for 5-10mins for a quick result. Would pay to watch the skull though, as the peroxide can damage the bone if left too long. Also, the skull will dry a shade whiter than it appears when wet....

So I ended up putting 1 litre into a 16litre bucket and had 2 tahr heads in there. Left them a day and a couple of days drying.
Came out pretty good.

Good on you. If its not too much hassle i would be keen to see some pics of how they came up. Going to be involved in a similar process myself shortly with a bit of luck.
