Blood dots in otter egg patterns

Hiya,

Have been scouring the internet to try and figure out how to get a blood dot into an otter synthetic gel egg ball.

I see some patterns with a little red bead that the tier has somehow got inside. I presume there is this and other ways.

Advice appreciated.

Cheers

Al

Thin end of the wedge there I'd say mate, but great to see someone posting something here.

Can you use a small glass bead as a head and egg body behind it?
I've seen Quite a few egg/nymph type hybrids appearing more and more on the scene.

Are the trout THAT fussy when it comes to eggs and pattern? or is more about size?
cheers

I'm sure they aren't that fussy at all!

I figure if I don't mind buying the otter egg patterns I may as well learn to tie them, but i did like the idea of the little blood dot inside.

Yah cheers. Feel a bit daft too as I just found this clear video by the RodnReel guy.

Not sure how I missed it before!
