You are getting too much gas from the nipple , get a beryllium nipple with a smaller hole , as you shoot out the nipple it will start smoking then blow back your hammer , that is when you can break the sears or hammer .

Thanks Flintlock. My shooter has recently started to reset the hammer after firing. I was wondering if it was an overcharge of powder. Will try a new nipple. Wink
