I started using movie maker and its only good for basic movies. I now use adobe premiere elements and my editing quality has come along hugely since Ive changed. Ill throw up some examples later tonight.

Yeah I also use premiere - it's really good. Another option is final cut X which is a bit more like iMovie. So many good tutorials on YouTube for both

Still pretty rough editing but its a huge improvement on my best video using movie maker. This was done using premiere elements.

I like the Corel stuff. Easy to use and lots of functions if you can be bothered. About $140 tho. Corel x8/is the latest one.

for tech-feebs like me I use Cyberlink PowerDirector which is on my wife's computer (I use an Apple and doesn't work on that platform as far as I know).

Easy enough to learn, allows lots of special features once you master basic editing functions (that Movie Maker would have already taught you). Give it a whirl (trial)

Cyberlink voted number one editing software again this year Greig.
Your vids certainly look good.
The "what editing software is best"? comes up a lot on this forum.
Cheers.
