Then DOC's head scientist admits this.
Graeme Elliot, Dept of Conservation's Chief Scientist, has FINALLY admitted, ( at a public meeting at Makarora, two weeks ago ), that the rock wren that disappeared in Kahurangi National Park after the last 1080 poison drop were PROBABLY KILLED BY 1080.
Its just a drop in the ocean for native birds.
