For those that are interested. There was an earlier query on here asked if how funding was progressing
The Lower North Island Red Deer Foundation have raised  approx. $13,000 towards funding the Judicial review of DOCs last WARO permitting, of the Lower North island forest parks.
We expect to have to raise another $12,000 approx. 
Additionally, The Lower NI clubs have contributed to the legal fees, as has Natex NZDA

This is a precedent setting challenge that will benefit hunters nationally re the WARO concession process, and DOCs obligations to consult and also justify their decisions regarding WARO

PS, once the Foundation gets a few things sorted, there will be opportunity for hunters to become members of the foundation

TH, if the hearing is successful can the LNIRDF apply to the Court for costs ?
