Yes, spotted a couple on TM over the last few weeks (shot down in flames) but you can expect to see more. Ebay has a few obvious fakes and even some described as 'clones'. Most people know about the fake leupold mk4's etc with the same serial numbers, 8888sc, 9999sc but the zeiss fakes may be harder to spot. They seem to have convincing packaging and markings, except in the case of the recent TM example which was a 6-24x50 AOE with r&g illuminated reticle. (not a model they make apparently) Do your research and beware. One thing I noticed was 'TM' after the carl zeiss label. Do real zeiss scopes have this 'Trademark'?

Have also seen some fake Bushnells on there in a model they don't make. The price seemed a bit too good. So a visit to the Bushnell website had details of what to look for in the fakes. I also wish people would list things in the correct category Pain in the $#%! when I filter looking for something and I get all sorts of other rubbish. A fixed power is just that so don't put it in the variable category.

Yeah, plenty of fake bushnell's and tasco's for sale. makes me wonder if that's half the reason for the bad reps they have in some circles. Why bother faking cheap chinese brands? just to give a recognisable name to it and sell them. With the more expensive brands, it's great to say 'buy off a reputable supplier' but many of us couldn't afford their HUGE and ASTRONOMICAL markups and have an eye for a bargain, so the second hand scope market is where it's at.
