Fake zeiss and leupold scopes

Yes, spotted a couple on TM over the last few weeks
(shot down in flames) but you can expect to see more. Ebay has a few obvious fakes and even some described as 'clones'.
Most people know about the fake leupold mk4's etc with the same serial numbers, 8888sc, 9999sc but the zeiss fakes may be harder to spot. They seem to have convincing packaging and markings, except in the case of the recent TM example which was a 6-24x50 AOE with r&g illuminated reticle. (not a model they make apparently) Do your research and beware. One thing I noticed was 'TM' after the carl zeiss label. Do real zeiss scopes have this 'Trademark'?
