We can all make a lot of noise about it. The trouble is no one will hear it- because no one wants to listen. Angry Sad

I am surprised that there are any animals left in that area as it has been hammered by 1080 for such a long time

They just can't help themselves. There a possum traps all over the place. Contractors working them to. Possum number are low. But they must continue to waste money.

Our roar area takes about 9hours walk to get to,  we checked most of the traps on the way there and didn't see a single critter in them.

A few weavels seen though, if anyone knows what I mean pm me

This is bull shit alright. I spend a bit of time on the ground up there and on what ive seen the possums  are low in numbers and the deer arent exactly populating thru the roof either!

I am intrigued by the little arm of the target area that sneaks out over the Okahu track towards mapouriki. Its almost like they have just tacked that bit on so they can f**k up the track to skips and beyond.
