Yes, she's all good. Showing her age but still getting out with me. We shot a couple last night. We've shot 181 deer together now.

She lives on a bean bag in the back yard shed. Not an inside dog - never has been.

During the day I bring the bag outside to her favourite spot so long as its not raining. It gets some sun and she can see in through the French doors and watch what we are up to. She monitors for any sign of me putting on any sort of clothing that means a walk or hunting. Even the sight of gum boot socks makes her excited.

A couple in the Haurangis recently. She had to find this wounded one and she did well - it was 2 deer for one shot - the hind was standing behind its yearling that I shot. The hind was hit in the spine by a petal flying off a Hammer bullet (they are mono bullets that shed their petals on impact).

And this is the yearling.

Yes, plenty of nettle in the Haurangis. I was surprised at their condition - expected them to be looking a bit leaner.

Ive been seeing fawns in them for a while now.

This one I didn't open up, but she was a real piss stained smelly old thing so maybe she was dry.
