Good plan BC. It can also place a lot more pressure on the other leg, since she will be favouring it while her bung one is on the mend. Since it was an accident it might not be as bad as my girl, but when they are a bit older they take a bit to time to bounce back ( just like us).
Bit like when us old fellas ( and I'm still young compared to you Smiley ) go back to the gym after a long break. We can over do it and do ourselves a mischief.

Tilly's leg is a lot better, but it has knocked her and she is now behaving like the 11 year old she is. I only take her on easier hunts now or if she can ride on the quad. We are still racking up a few together though and her tally with me is now 155 deer. Here's a few recent ones:

man its just as well SWMBO is frying steak for my dinner....some of them deer look mud fat.
Tilly is entitled to slow down a bit....the amount of deer she has had to pull up for you over the years.....far better for her to conserve energy till next time Wink

Hooray. At last I've been able to load some pics again (above) using Imgur. Nice easy program.

Hah. It was a yearling and she actually picked it up and shook it when she first found it.
