Fallow buck last night. It ended up in a steep creek. Tilly tracked and winded into it. Saved some mucking around. Rained most of the time and got home at 1am.

Nice bit of grass-fattened Xmas meat there, well earned, in the rain.  Grin

Last night. Shot across a gully but it only went 10 yards so was still on the clearing, so not much for Tilly to do. Earlier she and craigc's Visla winded and put us onto a hind which we left to have a fawn.

Good times.

We have shot 3 lately. One was a tricky find. The other 2 easy. She winded me into 1 of them. The other's I spotted through the binos.

She's about the same age as Josh's Pippa. RIP Pippa - I would be devastated if I lost Tilly. I feel your pain Josh.

P.s. Its damned annoying that the Image Hut pics have disappeared. Excuse the pun, but things are going to the dogs.

Most of my pics have gone and I cant upload new ones. Kind of ruins it really. We've shot a few lately.

I know BC. Been trying to get this fixed but everyone seems to be on holiday or protesting 1080.  Grin

Ironically Ive gone back to Photobucket which have vastly improved their service and the dropped the price drastically too. If one pays a subscription then its ad free.

Here's a couple more. #120 & #121.

This one was 375 yds across a gully, so an easy find on the bush edge for her.

This Sika was New Year's Eve in the Kawekas. She loves Sika, and winded this one at 325yds down a slip. I glassed until I saw it. And then she found it where it had rolled 100 yards down in the scrub. She put me on to 5 Sika in 2 days, and I spotted another 4.
