I'm searching for a pair too - what do people think of the Redfield 10 x 42s?
They are on reloaders supplies for $289, which doesn't seem bad. Are they any good though?

Or if you don't want an Asian made binocular, try these new Lithuanian roofprisms.

10x42 coming in next week, selling like hotcakes already.

10 day money back satisfaction guarantee  Smiley

The NZ Coastguard are impressed with them.

im disappointed with mine, have only used them a couple times and put them away a couple of months back and obviously the case had a bit of moisture in it or something but got them out today while preparing some gear and one side has fogged up really bad, not really acceptable from a set of binos that cost over $600 and are marketed as being waterproof....

Below average. In the price range I'd go for second hand better quality binos.

I wouldn't buy the H2O's, simply not good enough.

My pick for that money would be the Zen Ray ED3s.
