Had a crack at this fly from YouTube, not sure if link will work as its mobile link.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wA6_S8EJl-4
Anyways, cool looking fly, tied a couple of big dirty hare and copper bombs too for the Tongariro so my fly pattern count is up to 3  Grin.
Really enjoying the tying, options are endless, got a few ideas for me own ones too so watch this space.
This section's a bit slow so post some pics of your own designs guys, be cool to see, cheers, P.

Those wee nymphs look mint, have to make me a few of them. Here's a few recent ties of mine. Using what I had available, Some random stuff like fur off the pet cat, dental floss and bailing twine. Not that flash but the fish don't mind Wink

Nice work on the polish pheasant tail- looks very tidy.
I just got a bunch of tungsten beads and assorted other gear cheap from the internet, so should be tying up a storm over the next few months. Here's a couple of nymphs I like tying

well, tried out the above combo yesterday and that Polish PT was deadly! Only landed 2 including the Brown below that went 6 1/4 lb according to my net scale, but lost another 3 including a 'freight train' I couldn't stop!
Couple of pics of the brown below, interesting to see both the Brown below and the smaller rainbow I caught were both hooked in the front top lip.
