headed to private 2000 acre farm in wairapa!
Got time off and nothing stopped me.
8 hour drive and finally arrived there.
Went for a walk friday arvo and stalked but no luck, missed one fallow due to buck feverish haha being so close with the bow.. straight over back.
Got 20m within fallow buck, didn't shoot not allowed so caught it on video camera.

Next day it was raining and i headed out.
went for a big walk with trivia murpheys law a few times..
hunted into a hidden gulley after a red but my plan changed when this nice fallow hind was grazing along on the grass.
Trivia pointed and waited for me. I loaded the bow lined it up and shot.. I saw the arrow penetrate man what a feeling! the falow ran around in a circle and dropped by my feet right in the heart!

Good shit Theo, would have been a real buzz to get so close to the red stag, but also to deck the fallow hind with the bow Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley.

Looked like a nice stag too!
Yup, a new waterproof camera would be the way to go.  Smiley
