How does the poor little f*cker fly with half a kilo of plastic stuck to his feet?

Don't know especially considering the bird only weighs about 6 to 7 grams

Always makes me laugh when doc choppers people into cone as you could easily walk in there and back out after a days work..seen them trying to catch birds in there and also doing deer shit surveys. An then they say they have no money... Roll Eyes

umm, might be more efficient to camp in there for few days, rather than waste 3-4 hours walking in-out each day.
DOC do all sorts surveys in the area, birds counts , vegetation, deer/possum/rats,
all part of project kaka
They also fly into cow creek, mid waiohine and a few other sites.

almost as bad as fly-in hunters Smiley
