Okay - thanks for that.

It would appear to be an issue with your account - as you say if I use your login then it doesn't work and we see the white line.

I will talk to Alan when he is back and see if we could find out what is happening.

OK thanks, would be great to figure that one out, I have to make comments on the threads I want to follow so I can use the checkbox in the text editor screen, then delete the comment!

Okay - issue found to be in the default template - I use camo and it is fine, Alan is aware of the issue and hopes to have it resolved within a week  Grin

bugger all difference anyway apart from the background   are you inferring the background was different on your default template.... wondering if somehow you were getting a very old template from somewhere...

Hi Alan
Sorry you're right the background is the same for the default & camo, for some reason I thought it had changed.
Have checked again and when set to 'forum default' the notification definitely doesn't work. When set to 'camo' it works fine.
Blackbunny and Headcase were having the same problem, they might be able to confirm whether it's something to do with the 'forum default' setting?
Cheers

I found the fault yesterday in the default template...  and confirmed it myself. As soon as I changed to camo it all worked. I have now corrected the fault and gone back to default and it all works fine....
Default is the same as camo just we need to have a default one....... anyone reading this could they advise if this problem exists in any of the other templates. ie waterfowl or highcountry
