I just bought some Minox HG series binoculars 10x52.
On good recommendation but without doin a whole lot of research myself. And at a good price

Bloody nervous now as on a student budget.

Can anyone reassure me that these are the business?

I take it that you are actually a student, in that case you should know to do your homework!

I have a pair of HG 8x33 - I am more than happy with them in all respects. For what I paid for them - superb. The 10x52 will be quite a bit larger though and I do prefer more compact binos.

Yes I should have and usually would. However, this was a deal that was going to disappear real fast so got in there while I could

I do have some smaller compact binos. I thought these would be a good alround option for deer, cham and in thetruck when pig hunting. Glad to hear you are happy with yours.

Just checked and from what I can find online they are only 750g

Good choice, you won't regret it mate.  Superb quality - not exactly compact, but great value in their category.
