Was wondering about access boat or chopper from milford. Best spots for base camps and any tips on were you would concentrate your hunting sea ridges/faces or inland tops valleys.  Can you fly direct to the tops on this block? Smiley Smiley

I have been PMing Ginger 1 regarding the Stina. Unfortunately I have deleted them but if you PM him and ask nicely he may forward them to you. They were quite extensive and would be a mission to retype

We flew with Milford Heli but it's in the Glaisnoch Wilderness Area so landings are strictly just above high tide line

Good luck
Most of the block is bush with some excellent hunting

Would anyone be able to help with advice about the Large Burn?  We've drawn the 3rd period.

Have some knowledge of the Worsley if anyone's going in there - can certainly indicate a couple of places you definitely don't want to go!.

Many thanks

large burn is a small block with very steep sides it floods really easy so make sure you dont camp on valley floor, hunting is very limited with not to many tops.the best hunting would have to be up around myth tarn but even that is very limited two guys will cover it in two days.richard hays told him not long ago he hadnt seen a wapiti in there for 20 years but they are starting to turn up in some funny places latly so you never know.i have been over most of that block so if anything else you need to know i can help you out.but really not the best of blocks so be carfull in there.

Dan,
we are in large burn 2nd period.  were hoping to get dropped on tops northwest of myth tarn area (mt plulvis?? area).  what is access like from there down to myth tarn area??

and is it possible to get to the tops that border the block to the west, was hoping to head up there some time.  Any info would be appreciated.
cheers
