Nothing up there mate! The rain is to heavy for deer to cope with. It's just a rotton supple jack ridden swamp. Smiley

i was up there a month ago with two mates, went up friday night in the dark, shot a stag sat morning, which was holding half a dozen hinds, then saw another hind while butchering stag, when i came back to get the front shoulders and head i had another shot at a hind, (missed), one mate saw 4 hinds and other mate saw one stag and a couple of hinds.

Theres deer up there but they move around alot. Bush can be thick as and a bitch to move around in. The rain will have quietened the bush down but will leave it slippery as.

Yep ! went for a look today. seen a guy on his way out said he`d seen a hind though didnt shoot it.walked for a couple of hours trying likely looking places. Found some sign near a river I crossed  mmm some of it was still steaming! into stealth mode. alsa saw nothing, i did walk into a good sized Bivvy Town Angry Bugger four or five tents! Dont know if it was occupide or someones weekender. Carried on my merry way thinking if there are enough peopleto fill those tents hunting this area then i had better look else where  Undecided
Which i will try tomorrow.
