I suppose it wouldn't surprise the hut statisticians there is more private huts on DOC government land than official legal DOC huts.
Video hunter no doc dont no about this private hut and there are more private bivis and huts on doc land than doc huts at least our hut has covered pillows and beds mats

Cheers SK, Mongrels should appreciate the private huts more and not be so jealous and destroy them one it could be them or some poor bastard lost and at the end they would love to some where nice to bunk up for the night rather that a cold damp tree.. 10 months on and still carrying gear in. Over the last few weekends there sure have been some high rivers and wet days. Its been a bit of long process trying to get gear dry in The Croft just on a coat hanger with no sun. So we carryed in this dryer
