Been gathering up the bits for this for a while now, rem700 action, Shillen select match heavy contour, fluted, chambered in 6.5-284 and finished at 26" Ken Henderson carbon fibre stock, leupold VX3 LR (30mm side focus) 4.5-14x50 CDS in leupold tactical rings, will send it away for a Terminator brake (threaded allready) and call it done.

G'Day Fella's,

Over 1000 views overall on this thread, since I posted mine, and no replies....
FYI, I just thought I would let you know that I have added some additional script and images (about modifying and mounting the NF ADI), on this same above link.

Doh!

Picked up new rifle on the weekend. its a 6mm-284 built by Greg Duley. Barrel is a 26 inch Bartlein on a tikka T3 action. Scope is a Swaroski Z5 3.5 to 18X. Greg sorted loads using 90 grain Accubonds, going 3450fps. Bit of trouble with copper deposits, with several bonded bullet types. Unfortunately, Scirrocos were bad for this. Needs a fouler shot† first.
Bipod is a Javelin Super Lite.

Weight is 3.74kgs, lighter than my current rifle, which is a Winchester 70 243 converted to 22-243. was getting a bit heavy for me.

Took it out for a test shoot, grouped bit under .5inches at 100 yards. At 200 yards, grouped .433 inches, which i was pretty satisfied with.

Groups were bit variable until I set the Bi pod up.

Still to check further out, 300, 400, 500

Greg did an awsome job in building it
Now got to go out an get a deer.

Smiley Smiley

PS, whats the guts with photobucket? pictures are showing, next thing theyre not??

Photobucket has been kaput for about 6 months. They now want serious MONEY for hosting your images.
There are zillions of forums now where posters have displayed images in the past using PB now showing the same images as in your post. Suggest Imgur or Tinypic (can use without registering) or the forumís own hosting service. Or you could pay PB the money they ask........† Roll Eyes

See

and

I got pissed off with PB well b4 their latest antic. I removed all my images and departed to  other hosting sites ages ago.

reposting using the other photo hosting place

rifle is going well on the range. all groups under half inch, yesterday two groups of 3 under .3 inch.
hit gong at 400 yards dead centre.
so hopefully off this week to find a deer

has one of those Tikka set triggers.
And stock is one of NZHunters carbon fibre ones

EDIT
groups very good from cold
But Does suffer from fouling after about 5 shots.
Havnt got dies yet so cant load up fouling cases, they will arrive soon.

will also be trying 105 gn bergers as well

group at 200 yards

Liked the old Winchester 70, BC.
But wife convinced me I needed a lighter rifle, like the one Duleys took into Tararuas
How could I argue with that? Grin
