yep nice sit and spot place.
and 2920, for a 215gr is a real fast clip, I couldn't get a 200 to much more than that, with my 300H&H,

My latest toy. Rem 700 tactical xcr longrange. 300 win mag 20 moa rail with a Zeiss hd5 in loopy rings. 215 berger @ 2920fps. Smokes stuff dead.

Nice set up. I'm just waiting for my HD5 to arrive, very excited. Ordered a 3-15x50 for my .280.

I'm picking you can't be too far from my home, country looks very familiar. Smiley

Thought so. Grew up just over a couple of ridges I'd say. Should catch up one day then, go for a wander.

Something i picked up a few weeks ago to get into a little longer range shooting.

Tikka T3 Lite 300 Win Mag with DPT Magnum suppressor & limbsaver to calm it down a bit. Vortex Viper FFP PST 4-16  on top. Seems to be a pretty good set up.

Chewing through a heap of highland 150grain ammo i got cheap as chips. Also have some new Norma brass. Will be reloading some 168grain Amax projectiles with 2213sc powder shortly. Have only shot out to 460meters on paper getting a feel for the factory ammo drops. Will get stuck in once i get a good load sorted out.

Shot some goats, peacocks and a dozen rabbits (yes overkill im well aware Grin) a few weekends ago. Shoots like a pussycat with the limbsaver and suppressor. Might take it for a walk after a fallow this weekend. Looking forward to cooking up a load and stretching the barrel on it.

Cheers

As you are chewing through ammunition, you will soon have shot that barrel out. Luckily I have T3 Lite 300 Win Mag takeoff barrel with 48 rds through it for sale  Wink
