I have a friend who is doing a huge mural of New Zealand scenery for a wall of a new shop. he is desperately seeking special images to include. He will he happy to pay so so here's the deal. he needs images that show NZ scenes that are spectacular. They can be anything but its all to do with promoting NZ tourism so you can imagine they could cover anything from a stag in the bush to a spectacular mountain or sunset! If you have anything then can you put up a small image on photobucket or like or email me... for him to see. By the way you must have it in a reasonable size on your computer so if he chooses it you can send him a good image that will take being enlarged... Hes in a hurry!
sending a small winrar archive with 24 photos. NZ landscapes and sea views, the sea shots are the best of the package, the full size are 1.3Mb+ at 2592x1944 pixels. if he wants any just send the desired pic numbers and i can email them over.
with everyone contributing there should e a good selection of pictures to choose from
Of course I'm compensating. If I could kill stuff at 200 meters with my dick, I wouldn't need a gun.

simple way to re-size for those techno-duffers out there.
1) open folder with pics inside 2) move arrow on screen over picture name or thumbnail in folder 3) press the right mouse button 4) choose "open with" and click the left mouse button 5) in submenu choose Paint 6) wait for MSpaint to load with pic in window 7) press ALT key and I key simultaniously 8) press S key 9) change image size stats to 10% from 100%, or whatever size you want them smaller. 10) press "enter" button 11) press ALT key and F key simultaniously 12) select and click on "Save-As" 13) enter new name for smaller picture. I suggest the origional name with "-T" on the end 14) press enter 15) upload to photobucket or flickr and display on forum
there... problem solved

Why? Can't you see this thread has become a skite fest for photo's
Shame you really they were good pics especially the sunrise? sunset? one.
When did I realise I was God? While I was praying I realised I was talking to myself.
Note the winking smilie, just a wee joke but if you look at the thread and what Alanwrote it shows that not even the owner of the site is above getting his thread hi jacked.

Hi Whereami, its a Olympus c750. Just a 4MP but it takes some reasonably crisp photos, better than my 7MP i reckon. Thats a dotterel and i was probably 5m?? away, 10X zoom. Ive got lens converters as well but i dont think i used them on this one.

Cows? you want cows? Welsh blacks, Dexters, Highlands, Herefords, Angus, Friesen mongrels... just ask at the lifestyle lock forum and they'll probably be glad to show off their precious darling pets
T3 I use photoshop all the time. how much is a question I cant answer as each photo is uinque and has to be handled differently. Unless you shoot in raw mode (which I do) all cameras run a internal programe that does the same work that Photoshop does only behind the scenes . usally you will have presets that give different results. I shoot in raw mode which produces a unprocessed result much the same as film. I then get a shot at developing my image just like a photogrpher does with film. white balance can nearly always be tweked to give a more accurate rendition of the scene you captured.

I have yet to get to using RAW there's enough other modes I need to work on first. Do you have photoshop pro or something like elements?
