Hi Guys/Girls

Thought I'd do the same and introduce myself also. As you what they say put nothing in get nothing back.

I'm 37 just got onto this great sight by chance (searching) really.

I am a farmer in Oamaru but come from the Catlins originally so had lot of bush hunting/possum trapping experience.

Love hunting deer in the roar period and anytime really also chamois and tahr on the tops. Best experience hunting in fiordland hearing and seeing the whistling wapiti .

Just starting to show my son the ropes he's only 7 but super keen . Anyway thanks for the time , great forum.

Ricky

Hi Gents,
I live in Montana and live to hunt and fish, especially in our backcountry! Bowhunting for Elk in the rut is the greatest part of fall! I also shoot long range rifle matches and am an avid fly fisherman. I'm planning a trip to the South Island May 1-15 with an Army buddy. Trying to learn all I can about NZ, also willing to share what I know about shooting and the Mountain West.

Hi, my name is Marshall and I'm 25 years old. Grew up in South/North Carolina in the states hunting whitetail, turkey, wild boar, bobcats/coyotes, quail and some ducks here and there.

Keen on all types of hunting as we will be here a few years, possibly longer but am currently waiting on my FAL and training a young bird dog in the meantime.

The style of hunting here is very unique and intriguing so looking forward to learning from y'all and getting out as much as possible. Smiley

Greetings folks.
fatharry is the log in. fat harry was the dog, 308 calibre of rifle.

Second time round for me on the forum. Things turned to custard for awhile but seem to be sorting out now. Wife died, wrote the bike off, wrote the car off, sold the rifles.

Went crazy recently an bought another three rifles. .44 mag Rossi. .223 Howa. 308 Tikka.
The Forum is good. Life is good.
