through many pig hunts i have used jack russel terriers. if possible it is great to hunt open fields right before dark and early morning. they really love to sugar beets and barley. if bow hunting it is best to set up near a heavily used trail that leeds into some type of feed. fresh rooting is a good sign of a good trails. the bigger bores are trophys but not good eating. i personaly use a 7 mag to hunt.
