I,ve been shooting a .25-06 for about ten years now, and I have hunted everything from as small as rabbits to as large as moose. It's a very good, fast, slat shooting deer gun, and I especially like the Winchester 115 gr. Ballistic Silvertips. If you compare these to any other bullet available for the .25-06, you won't find any other that retains as much speed and energy when you get out there. The drop at 500 yards (with 200 yard zero) is about 24 inches ish. It's a very goood rifle, depending on what you need it for. That's all, good hunting.
