Chill out you Guys. The way I read Kai's post is that he is talking about a traditional drive. You could expect a misunderstanding here in NZ. A drive as I understand it is where the guns (shooting stands) are positioned in such a way that when beaters (used to be estate workers in old europe) walk a spinney or gully they drive the animals to run past the stands and present shots to the guns. I may be wrong just my impression thats all. It is very effective for game birds and common in Europe. As far as deer and pig go I guess you could try it though finding motivated serfs to run around in the scrub might be diffucult. Come to think of it they would not get past the first "plantation"
